Description
Tree up to 35(-42) m high, dioecious, mainly glabrous; branchlets finely ribbed, not to rarely lenticellate, glabrous, with white to greyish bark with conspicuous discoid glands
Ecology
Primary and secondary forest, in periodically inundated forest, forest edges, logged plains, often in riparian forests, and swampy areas. Alt.: sea level to 500 m.
Distribution
Peninsular Malaysia, Sumatra, Borneo.
